

About Me

I'm Chris Dichmann, welcome to my website! I'm a Game Designer with a special focus on Narrative and Level Design. I also have a fair amount of experience with Game Asset Creation.
Above all else, I am a storyteller, and I love to tell unique and interactive narratives through the incredible medium of video games. From character dialogue to environmental storytelling, I'm fascinated by the ways games construct and tell their stories, and I'm always looking to find new ways to create exciting and engaging experiences in all my endeavors.
I graduated with a BA in English Literature from BYU in 2019, and graduated with a BA in Game Design from Sheridan College in 2024.




Teamwork makes the Dream Work

There's nothing I love more than collaborating with talented people to create amazing things. Teamwork has been a crucial aspect of my journey as a Game Designer, and I take any opportunity I can to work with and learn from others. I'm continually grateful for the amazing individuals I've worked with, even if we were at times separated by thousands of miles.

Slopes, Stories, and Scary Movies

When I'm away from the computer screen, I love to hit the slopes on some skis. As my English degree might suggest, I'm a bit of a literature buff - I have a particular fondness for short story horror. This bleeds into my love of film, where horror movies are king. And of course, when I'm not doing any of the above, I'm making or playing video games.

Catlike Agility

When I'm on a project, I try to learn as much as I can and be a flexible team member. I've acted as a Technical Writer, Project Manager, Game Designer, Level Designer, Narrative Designer, 3D Artist, and many other roles. I always try to fit the role that is needed, and hopefully learn something along the way!
